12 February 2013 Vendis Capital invests in Hypo Group
The Hague, 12 February 2013 – Vendis Capital, the private equity fund specialized in the European consumer industry, has taken an interest in Hypo Group.
The Dutch Hypo Group is a fast growing supplier of branded equestrian fashion, for rider as well as horse. The main brands are HV POLO (which links to the polo sport) and euro-star. The products are sold to specialized equestrian retailers, internet- and mail order companies, mainly in Europe. In 2012 Hypo Group took over the activities of Nederinum/Imperial Riding, one of the oldest Dutch equestrian wholesalers specialized in hardware products.
Vendis Capital is a private equity fund with an exclusive focus on the consumer sector in Europe. It has a capital base of a bit more than 100 million euro. The fund is headquartered in Belgium, but is actively present in the Dutch and French markets.
